Become a qualified skydiver with this intensive course
You will get individual attention in this accelerated
freefall course (max group size of 3). Although you don't actually fall
faster you will learn the fundamentals of skydiving 3 to 5 times faster
than any other course. The price includes all the basic accessories needed
as a skydiver (yours to keep) - tailored jumpsuit, altimeter, helmet,
goggles, logbook and British Parachute Association Membership. The accelerated
freefall course includes 8 skydives.

AGENDA - The course commences with a
full day of tuition. This covers the theory and practice of Skydiving.
When your Instructors are happy with your performance on the ground, you
will make your Level 1 skydive from 12,000 feet with two Instructors holding
on to you. The AFF course is based on eight Levels of accomplishment,
normally one skydive at each Level, and is designed to take place over
a full week. Given good weather, the course may sometimes be completed
in a few days.
NOTES - On purchasing this experience
you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 10 months validity.
- Your weight fully clothed must not exceed 15 stone (95 kg) - Your
weight will be checked on the day of the course
- The minimum age for sport parachuting is 16 years - For those under
18 years of age a separate signed letter of consent from a parent or
guardian will be required before training commences
- YOU SHOULD NOTE THAT YOUR SKYDIVE WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE DATE BOOKED
WEATHER PERMITTING, SO PLEASE BE PREPARED TO BE FLEXIBLE
Important Fitness/Medical Notes:
- You will be required to complete and sign a 'Declaration of Fitness'
to Parachute before training commences (this will be provided when your
booking is confirmed)
- If you are 40 years of age or over, or you have suffered from any
of the following, you must obtain written approval from your Doctor
on the 'Declaration of Fitness to Parachute' form before commencing
training:
Previous fractures
back strain
arthritis and severe joint sprains
Chronic bronchitis
Asthma
Rheumatic fever
Pneumothorax
Liver or kidney disease
Thyroid, adrenal or other glandular disorder
Chronic ear or sinus disease
Any condition which requires the regular use of drugs
Anaemia
Recent blood donation
- No person over the age of 40 years will normally be accepted for
novice parachute training, other than for Tandem Skydives, where high
ages may be acceptable - Exceptions to this rule may be allowed if the
candidate either has previous experience or is of a high standard of
fitness and can convince the Instructor of that fitness
- You will not be allowed to undertake parachute training if you have
ever suffered from any of the following medical conditions, unless you
and your Doctor have obtained the prior approval of the Medical Advisor
to the British Parachute Association (who may be contacted via the address
on the 'Declaration of Fitness' form which is available from us):
Epilepsy
fits
severe head injury
recurrent blackouts or giddiness
disease of the brain or nervous system
high blood pressure
heart or lung disease
recurrent weakness or dislocation of any limb
diabetes
mental illness
drug or alcohol addiction
- Important Weight Limitations Your weight (fully clothed) is a consideration
when selecting your course. Please note the maximum weights shown for
each course
- Also, you should not be significantly overweight for your height
- Be sure to read the medical/fitness notes provided with the Application
