If you have the nerve to go it alone then this is the one for you. After two days of intensive training it's time to take to the skies. The pumping adrenalin that you will experience on your ascent only enhances the exhilaration you will feel after the jump. As for the jump itself, to exit the plane goes against everything you have ever been taught, what a buzz.

AGENDA - 2 Day Course Day 1 - Theoretical work and physical practice comprising of safety regulation education as well as comprehensive review of all sky diving techniques required to exit the aircraft and fall in a controlled manner. Day 2 - The jump is planned to take place. You will be provided with a skydivers jump suit to go over your clothes as well as a parachute system and radio. You should wear comfortable clothing such as a track suit and trainers, no heavy boots or street shoes.

NOTES - On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 10 months validity.

  • Your weight fully clothed must not exceed 15 stone (95 kg) - Your weight will be checked on the day of the course
  • The minimum age for sport parachuting is 16 years - For those under 18 years of age a separate signed letter of consent from a parent or guardian will be required before training commences
  • YOU SHOULD NOTE THAT YOUR SKYDIVE WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE DATE BOOKED WEATHER PERMITTING, SO PLEASE BE PREPARED TO BE FLEXIBLE

Important Fitness/Medical Notes:

  • You will be required to complete and sign a 'Declaration of Fitness' to Parachute before training commences (this will be provided when your booking is confirmed)
  • If you are 40 years of age or over, or you have suffered from any of the following, you must obtain written approval from your Doctor on the 'Declaration of Fitness to Parachute' form before commencing training:
    Previous fractures
    back strain
    arthritis and severe joint sprains
    Chronic bronchitis
    Asthma
    Rheumatic fever
    Pneumothorax
    Liver or kidney disease
    Thyroid, adrenal or other glandular disorder
    Chronic ear or sinus disease
    Any condition which requires the regular use of drugs
    Anaemia
    Recent blood donation
  • No person over the age of 40 years will normally be accepted for novice parachute training, other than for Tandem Skydives, where high ages may be acceptable - Exceptions to this rule may be allowed if the candidate either has previous experience or is of a high standard of fitness and can convince the Instructor of that fitness
  • You will not be allowed to undertake parachute training if you have ever suffered from any of the following medical conditions, unless you and your Doctor have obtained the prior approval of the Medical Advisor to the British Parachute Association (who may be contacted via the address on the 'Declaration of Fitness' form which is available from us):
    Epilepsy
    fits
    severe head injury
    recurrent blackouts or giddiness
    disease of the brain or nervous system
    high blood pressure
    heart or lung disease
    recurrent weakness or dislocation of any limb
    diabetes
    mental illness
    drug or alcohol addiction
  • Important Weight Limitations Your weight (fully clothed) is a consideration when selecting your course. Please note the maximum weights shown for each course
  • Also, you should not be significantly overweight for your height
  • Be sure to read the medical/fitness notes provided with the Application
